Letter: Our next president is a morally bankrupt despicable man

To its everlasting shame, the US has elected a morally bankrupt despicable man who now has total control as a dictator to rule as he sees fit. No Congress to stop him and with a packed Supreme Court, he is now the new Hitler.
His election speaks to the baseness of the American people. 
In the words of Rec Huppke of USA TODAY, the US has chosen “one of the most cruel, unscrupulous and …self serving political figures in modern history to be president. We just elected a convicted felon who has normalized bullying, spread hate… and shown us over and over again he sees laws as irrelevant and self enrichment as sacrosanct”.
